I had been watching a live firefight between US Marines and Iraqi Republican Guard troops on TV. The Iraqis fire with small arms and the marines returned fire with thanks. The irony is that a Hollywood movie has more action. Real life is slow an intense. More meaningful, more sinister.


Estuve viendo un tiroteo en vivo, entre soldados estadounidenses y guardias del Irak en la tele. Los iraquíes dispararon con armas cortas y los estadounidenses respondieron con tanques. Lo irónico es que una película de Hollywood tiene más acción. La realidad es lenta e intensa. Con más significado; es más siniestra.
