LAY LOW
“What are you doing tonight?” I asked speaking directly into the telephone.
“Nothing, write I guess, what about you?” Éktor replied from his downtown home.
“I don’t know, I was invited to a couple of parties, but they are all the way across town, I don’t feel like braving the police check points”
“You got that right”
“It is not like it used to be”
“Now and days you have to hit the trenches and lay low. Make sure you have enough provisions to party through the night. Then when the sun comes up, you can go home. Welcome to the future”
